LW Skips is Staffordshire’s long-established skip hire and recycling business, running its own skip and RoRo fleet and a freehold, permitted waste transfer station at Cannock Wood.

For more than four decades LW Skips has served households, trades, builders and businesses around Cannock, Lichfield, Rugeley and Burntwood. Waste comes back to its own Environment Agency-permitted transfer station, where it is tipped, segregated and sent on for recovery — wood, metals, plasterboard, inert material, cardboard and glass.

The yard is freehold, licensed since 1994 and permitted for 51,850 tonnes a year — well above today’s throughput, giving the group room to grow volumes without a new permit. Loading shovels, a shredder, a trommel and grab equipment support on-site processing.

LW joined the group through Anglian in 2026, sharing back office, systems and commercial capability. It gives the group a West Midlands foothold and a route to Anglian’s specialist services for Staffordshire customers.
