Quickskip is Herefordshire’s family-run skip hire, collection and recycling business — three permitted sites at Rotherwas, a fleet of skip loaders, RoROs, grabs, tippers and sweepers, and nothing sent to landfill.

Founded in 2002 and run by Joe and Simon Lively, Quickskip serves households, trades and businesses across Hereford and around 35 miles into Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Shropshire and Monmouthshire — skips from 2 to 40 yards, hook-lift containers, trade wheelie-bin rounds, grab and tipper hire and road sweepers.

Waste comes back to its licensed recycling facility at Thorn Business Park, where a covered picking line and trommel separate wood, metals, cardboard, plastics and inert material. Chapel Road turns soils and rubble into lab-tested 6F5 aggregate and screened topsoil, and waste wood becomes biomass fuel. Environment Agency returns show none of its outgoing waste went to landfill in 2024 or 2025.

In the group’s South West & Wales cluster, Quickskip pairs with RMR — sharing waste flows and processing capacity — and develops soils, sludge and wet-waste capabilities alongside Sanderson.
