Sanderson Environmental is a national, asset-light specialist brokerage that finds compliant, landfill-free outlets for difficult organic and liquid wastes — sewage sludge, digestate, compost oversize, filter cake and leachate.

Founded in 2002 by brothers Andy and Rob Sanderson, the business matches complex waste streams with the right treatment route: land restoration, agricultural landspreading, composting, anaerobic digestion and biomass. Its customers include water and wastewater utilities, national waste companies, composters, AD operators and food manufacturers.

Rather than owning plant, Sanderson coordinates a UK-wide network of permitted partner sites and contracted hauliers — walking floors, bulkers and tankers — with the compliance, testing and nutrient planning that regulated streams require. It holds ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.

For the group, Sanderson brings national reach and a sales and marketing engine that cross-sells every service across the combined customer base — complementing the physical regional hubs.
